T-MAP FACULTY CERTIFICATION · INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS

Two days.
Every teacher.

One shared standard.

A complete certification built around your school, your faculty, and the students you serve, delivered on your campus in two focused days.

WHAT IS T-MAP?

The Teaching Mastery Acceleration Program

The Teaching Mastery Acceleration Program (T-MAP) is Thrive's flagship educator pathway with three levels, each building on the previous one, ensuring mastery in teaching, pedagogy, and classroom management through a structured curriculum and hands-on experience. For this delivery, your faculty earns Levels 1 and 2, adapted for experienced educators and brought directly to your campus.

THE T-MAP FACULTY CERTIFICATION FOR INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS

Your teachers already teach; most of them well. What independent school faculties typically lack isn't foundational skills but a shared framework: a common language for what great instruction looks like in your environment, with your students.

Async pre-work handles orientation so Day 1 can open directly into targeted, applied sessions that meet experienced educators where they are. Day 2 advances into mentorship thinking, innovative leadership, and the reflective practice that elevates a whole school's culture.

The result: Levels 1 and 2, delivered in a format that respects your teachers' expertise and your school's time, for faculties that are already teaching well, but ready to teach better.

WHY IT MATTERS

Teaching quality is your most important competitive advantage

Most teachers arrive from generalist training programs and spend years developing their instincts through trial and error. The T-MAP Faculty Certification replaces that slow, uneven process with something better: a shared, research-informed framework for exceptional teaching, calibrated to your specific environment before the program even begins.

The result is a faculty that teaches with intention rather than instinct, and a school that can speak to prospective families about its teaching philosophy with genuine authority.

BUILT AROUND YOUR STUDENTS

MEETS YOUR FACULTY WHERE THEY ARE

WEIGHTED TO YOUR PRIORITIES

A COMMON LANGUAGE FOR EXCELLENCE

It's your reputation, your enrolment, and the promise you make to every family who chooses you.

For an independent school, the quality of teaching isn't just an academic measure:

THE PROGRAM

Two LEVELS, Two days. One Complete certification.

The T-MAP Faculty Certification allows your faculty to experience Levels 1 & 2 together in two expertly designed days.

Pre-work primes your faculty. Day 1 grounds and stretches them. Day 2 deepens and connects them.

Async Pre-Work

Sent to your school two weeks ahead, roughly three hours to complete.

Faculty will arrive having already reflected on where they feel strongest and where they notice friction. A brief T-MAP orientation package means Day 1 starts in the middle, not at the beginning.

Administrators complete a short pre-survey so facilitators know the room before they arrive.

BEFORE THE PROGRAM

DAY 1 · ON CAMPUS

Foundation & Bridge

The practical core, built for your school.

Morning: Facilitators open with what your faculty surfaced, and the work begins immediately. Classroom management, engagement, and high-trust learning environments are applied directly to your students and setting.

Afternoon: The room shifts to student-centred instruction and the first seeds of mentorship thinking take root. Every teacher leaves Day 1 with tools they can use immediately.

DAY 2 · ON CAMPUS

Advanced & Leadership

The deeper work, built to last.

Morning: Advanced instructional practice, differentiated approaches, and the kind of student-centred thinking that separates good teachers from exceptional ones.

Afternoon: The focus turns inward. Reflective practice, school culture, and what it means to lead learning from inside a classroom. Faculty close with a personal teaching commitment and a shared language for excellence that doesn't leave when the day ends.

A faculty that teaches with intention rather than instinct.

The outcome of the T-MAP Faculty Certification is a faculty grounded in the fundamentals and stretched toward leadership, aligned around a shared understanding of how your students learn best.

An investment that families can see

The T-MAP Faculty Certification is a credentialing story you can share with your board, your community, and prospective families.
